Documentary
Long-form documentary filmmaking for NGOs, government bodies, and brands — from treatment through to festival delivery.
Documentary Filmmaking
MSD Media Pro produces documentary films for NGOs, development organisations, government bodies, and brands seeking to tell authentic long-form stories. We have produced documentaries on social development, heritage, urban life, and climate impact, screened at national events and distributed internationally.
Approach
We begin every documentary with a research and discovery phase — speaking with subjects, reviewing archival material, and shaping a narrative treatment before a single frame is shot. Cinéma vérité and observational approaches are our default, supplemented with interview setups and archival integration where the story demands it.
Production Scope
Documentary projects range from 10-minute awareness films through to feature-length (45–90 minute) works. We handle concept development, field research, multi-location production, archival licensing, subtitling, colour grade, and final delivery to broadcast or festival specification.
Distribution Support
For clients seeking broadcast or festival placement, we can advise on submission strategy and provide the required technical deliverables — including DCP mastering for cinema exhibition.
To discuss a documentary commission, please share the subject, intended audience, and final usage.
